Active Senior Living

Active Senior Living Flourishes at The Woodland

We welcome volunteers from Longwood University, Hampden-Sydney College, and the local Farmville community, as well as from among the family and friends of residents and staff.

Volunteers perform many valuable services. They read to residents, play games, and share experiences including music, arts, and crafts.

Active Senior Living within a Thriving Two-College Town

Residents of The Woodland also enjoy being active members of America’s first two-college town and make frequent outings to enjoy all that the Farmville community has to offer. From a bustling downtown with its rich history, residents of The Woodland know that Farmville is a unique and vibrant place to be.
